How is the motor maintained and maintained
Many motors fail during operation, not because of their own quality problems, but because of improper maintenance and maintenance in motor applications. Therefore, doing a good job in the maintenance and maintenance of the motor in daily use is an important part of extending the service life of the motor.
Routine maintenance
Clean the internal and external dust, dirt and brush dust of the motor to ensure that the operating environment of the motor is in a good state.
For the winding rotor motor, the brush pressure should be adjusted to replace or grind the damaged brush to ensure the reliable operation of the motor collector ring system. When replacing the carbon brush, ensure that the carbon brush material, the contact area between the carbon brush and the collector ring (more than 70%) meet the requirements.
Cleaning, wiping brush holder, brush grip, slip ring, especially the surface of the collector ring must be smooth and clean, when the collector ring surface is damaged (there are pits or corrosion points), should be polished with fine sandpaper.
Thoroughly check the lubrication system, replenish the grease, and replace the lubricating oil. This is one of the most critical items for motor maintenance, regular grease supplement to the motor to ensure that the motor runs in a better state of lubrication and prevent motor stagnation caused by poor lubrication.
Check and adjust the ventilation and cooling system of the motor. The ventilation and cooling system of the motor is related to the temperature rise control of the motor, especially for the ventilation and cooling system such as the high-pressure motor and the variable frequency speed regulating motor that are independently powered, it is necessary to ensure that the ventilation and cooling system is in good working condition when the motor is running.
Check and adjust the transmission mechanism. According to the transmission of the motor is basically belt conveyor drive and coupling drive, one is to check the connection state of the two, and the other is to check whether the equipment is blocked.
Disassembly, inspection and maintenance
Disassemble the motor, clean the motor windings, ventilation channels, wiring boards, etc. Some motors are used in a bad environment, a lot of dust will accumulate in the motor windings, and some dust includes conductive foreign bodies, which will have great harm to the motor performance.
Measure the insulation resistance of the winding and dry the motor winding if necessary. Especially for the motor used in warm environment and open environment, first, the motor protection selection should be selected in accordance with the actual needs, and the second is that the necessary dehumidification treatment should be carried out according to the provisions.
Check the flatness and relative stability of the collector ring, and turn it if necessary. When the motor is running, the wear of the carbon brush, dust and foreign matter during the process will lead to different degrees of wear or ablation on the surface of the collector ring. The collector ring should be polished during maintenance, and a new collector ring should be replaced if necessary.
According to the wear degree of the carbon brush, the distance between the brush grip and the slip ring should be adjusted to ensure good contact between the carbon brush and the collector ring; The stability of the brush rod is checked to prevent the bad contact between the carbon brush and the collector ring due to the loosening of the brush rod.
Clean the bearing lubrication system and check its working condition, determine the bearing clearance, replace the worn rolling bearing, scratch and adjust the plain bearing, and replace the tile or solder the hanging tile when damaged.
For the rotor of the winding motor, the binding state of the rotor should be checked and the necessary strengthening should be carried out.
For high-voltage motors, the stator and rotor air gap should be measured and adjusted at the same time to ensure the coaxial rotor; Replace damaged parts.
Clean the rheostat, starter, control equipment and auxiliary equipment, and replace damaged resistors, contacts, components, cooling oil, etc.
Check and repair the grounding device and adjust the transmission device. The grounding of the motor should be reliable to prevent safety accidents.
Winter motor maintenance
1, the motor runs for a long time in winter, the shaft extension end transmits power, often the bearing temperature at the load end will be higher, the bearing temperature of the non-shaft extension end motor will be lower, in winter, especially outdoor operation is not easy to form an oil film, timely oil, the temperature is too low should add low temperature lubricating oil.
2, the general motor is 3# lithium grease, the refueling amount is as follows: 2 extreme high-speed motor, the general refueling amount is about 40~50% of the total volume; 4 pole medium speed motor, the general refueling amount is about 60 to 70% of the total volume; For low-speed motors with more than 6 poles, the general refueling amount is 80 to 90% of the total volume.
- Large motors generally use sliding bearing structure because of large motor shaft extension load. When the motor is working, a thin oil film is required between the bearing bush and the rotating shaft to play a lubricating role; When the motor is running in winter, it is easy to have problems such as string shaft and oil leakage, and should often strengthen inspection, timely replace the wearing parts of the floating seal, check the matching size between the bearing bush and the rotating shaft, ensure the oil storage area of the bearing bush surface, and prevent the temperature and burning of the bearing bush due to friction.
4, in winter, especially in snowy weather, after the motor is shut down, due to the large difference between the motor temperature and the ambient temperature, it is easy to produce condensation in the humidity environment, especially the motor terminals, leads, etc., should be wiped clean to prevent three-phase short circuit; If the motor is installed with a heater, it should be turned on for 1-2 minutes before starting again for dew removal.
5, in the winter should also check the load of the motor in time, do not run the pump and other loads, if there is icing phenomenon, will increase the load of the motor, due to the sudden start of the load is too large, resulting in the motor winding burned and other problems.
