Installation precautions for pump inlet and outlet pipelines

1. Choose the appropriate pipe material
Choosing pipes with excellent acid and alkali resistance is crucial for reducing pipeline corrosion and extending service life. Common acid and alkali resistant pipes include polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fiberglass, etc. When selecting pipes, it is necessary to consider the properties and temperature of the medium to ensure that the pipes can withstand the corrosion of the medium and maintain stability.
2. Reasonably design pipeline layout

Pump starting and stopping

1) Prepare before starting the chemical centrifugal pump

(1) Rotate the motor blade by hand, and the impeller should have no stuck grinding phenomenon and rotate flexibly.

(2) Open the inlet valve, open the exhaust valve to fill the entire pump chamber with liquid, and then close the exhaust valve.

(3) Move the pump by hand to make the lubricating fluid enter the mechanical seal end face.

(4) Point the motor to determine whether the steering is correct.

2) Chemical centrifugal pump start and run

(1) Fully open the inlet valve and close the discharge pipe valve.

(2) Turn on the power, when the pump reaches the normal speed, then gradually open the valve on the spit pipe, and adjust to the required condition.

(3) Pay attention to observe the instrument reading, check the shaft seal leakage, normal mechanical seal leakage, <3 drops/min, check the motor, bearing temperature rise ≤=70 degrees C, if found abnormal conditions, should be handled in time.

3) Stop the chemical centrifugal pump

(1) Gradually close the discharge pipe valve and cut off the power supply.

(2) Close the inlet valve.

(3) If the ambient temperature is lower than 0 degrees C, the liquid in the pump should be drained to avoid freezing and cracking.

(4) If the pump is out of use for a long time, it should be disassembled and cleaned, packed and kept.

Pump maintenance

First, the work content of centrifugal pump maintenance

  1. Check and ensure that the sealing packing is sufficient, the gland is not biased, the shaft sleeve is not worn, and the leakage is not excessive.

2, check the parts of the bolts for loosening and slipping phenomenon.

  2. Check whether the rubber pad of the coupling is intact.

5, check and ensure that the pressure gauge is flexible and easy to use, all parts do not leak.

  1. Clean the front and rear bearing boxes, check and replace the oil and grease.

Third, the work content of three levels of maintenance of centrifugal pump

  1. Stop the pump: stop the pump according to the operation procedure of stopping the pump, pull the brake and power off, hang the repair plate, empty, remove the connecting screws of the pump, and move the chemical centrifugal pump to the pump repair workshop.

2, remove the pump coupling: it is strictly prohibited to knock with iron during operation, so as not to damage the coupling and the parts in the pump. Remove coupling with tension and remove key with flat shovel.

3, remove the bearing body: when removing the front and rear bearing body end cover, you can first make a mark, and then remove the bearing body end cover screw, remove the bearing end cover, the end cover sealing surface should be placed upward. Remove the bearing lock, remove the connecting nut of the bearing body, remove the bearing body with the top wire or tension device, and remove the bearing into the cleaning basin.

  1. Disassemble the disc gland: Remove the disc gland nut, pull out the gland along the axis, and take out the old disc with a special tool.
  2. Take out the balancing device: When removing the tail cover, use the top wire to cauterize the tail cover, place the sealing surface upward, do not use a crowbar to pry, remove the shaft sleeve, and put it into the cleaning basin. Use special tools to pull out the balance plate and remove the balance ring.
  3. Remove the balance pipe: remove the loose joint and remove the balance pipe.

7, remove the rod, remove the tail section: remove the rod nut, pull out the rod, in order to prevent vibration in the middle of the fall, should be in the middle of the lower cushion inclined iron. Tap the end with a copper rod to loosen it, then remove the end. Do not smash hard pry, so as not to damage the sealing surface.

8, Remove the impeller: first use a wooden hammer along the impeller around gently, and then use two screwdrivers at the same time symmetrical lever, you can remove, put the impeller into the basin clean, remove the impeller to make a mark, placed in order, remove the impeller at all levels one by one.

  1. Disassemble the middle part: gently knock each middle part of the convex place with a copper rod to remove each middle part, make a mark, and place it in order.

10, remove the pump shaft: pump shaft out, remove the sleeve, remove the key, put the pump shaft on the tie.

11, cleaning and checking the components: clean the lubrication room, clean and check the bearing, the bearing should be intact, use the lead pressure method to measure the bearing clearance (0.16-0.24mm), the clearance does not meet the requirements should be replaced. Clean and check the shaft sleeve, the surface of the shaft sleeve should be no serious wear, no deep groove scratches, good coordination with the shaft, does not meet the requirements should be replaced. Clean and check the impeller, the surface of the impeller should have no cracks and serious wear, the entrance should be smooth, the flow channel is smooth, and those that do not meet the requirements should be replaced. The repaired or newly replaced impeller should be tested for static balance, and the testing requirements should meet the allowable tolerance value of static balance of the impeller. Clean and check the balance plate and the balance plate, repair the balance plate and the balance plate that are seriously worn until they meet the requirements. When the balance plate has serious cracks or defects, it should be replaced, the newly replaced balance plate should be static balance test, and the balance tube should be unblocked. Clean and check the pump shaft, and the outer surface of the pump shaft should be free of scars and obvious wear. The maximum bending of the total length of the pump shaft is not greater than 0.05mm, if it does not meet the requirements, the pump shaft should be straightened according to the regulations. Check the runout of the rotor, the runout value of the journal, shaft sleeve, balance disc, impeller, mouth ring, etc., should meet the requirements, do not meet the requirements should find out the cause of the treatment, use the vernier caliper to measure the gap between the impeller and mouth ring meet the requirements of the specified value within 0.25mm.

  1. Assembly of fluorine lined centrifugal pump: After cleaning the accessories, assembly is carried out in the order of unloading and loading first. During the assembly process, all parts should be complete and intact, and each sealing surface should be replaced with a new gasket, and the gasket should be coated with sealing grease. Install the low-pressure end shaft sleeve, set the position, put the pump shaft into the water inlet section, install the first stage impeller, and then coat the middle part of the joint surface with sealing grease and put the gasket, install the first stage middle section, according to the above method, install each middle section, impeller, until the outlet section. During the assembly process, in order to prevent the middle part from falling off, a gasket should be added below it. Each section is connected with a threading rod. The threading screw should be tightened diagonally and evenly, and the gap size of the connecting surface in the middle section should be measured to prevent deviation. Install the balance tube, assemble the balance plate, balance plate, shaft sleeve, etc. The shaft sleeve must be tightened, and the channeling of the pump shaft measured by the shaft channeling measurement method should be within the specified range. First install the tail cover, the packing gland, and then install the bearing body, and tighten the bolts evenly diagonally. Assembly bearings by manual assembly or hot assembly, bearing to add sealing grease, tighten the bearing lock mother. The amount of grease added to the lubrication chamber can account for 80% of the remaining space. Diagonal tighten the end cap screw, add a new disc, check intact, fit well with the keyway, load the coupling, the elastic rubber ring should be elastic, no deformation, no hardening, cracks and other defects. 13, adjust the concentricity: the motor and the pump are connected to adjust the concentricity of the unit, so that the axial value is less than 0.06mm, the radial value is less than 0.08mm, and the clearance amount of the coupling end face should meet the specified value.

14, trial operation: start pump trial operation according to the operating procedures, the trial operation should meet the technical requirements, and the reasons should be identified if the requirements are not met, and the corresponding treatment should be done.

15, record data: maintenance is completed, fill in the pump maintenance record, and archive and save, hang up the running plate.
