The reasons and solutions of self-priming pump without water are as follows:

1. No storage liquid or insufficient storage liquid in the body of self-priming pump: add enough.

2. Suction pipeline leakage: Eliminate pipeline leakage phenomenon, check method within the allowed suction range of the pump start 4-5 minutes water has not been sucked up, please use the ear close to the inlet pipeline suspected of leaking to listen to the sound of aspiration, or in the suspected of leaking place coating white latex and other methods to repair.

3. The suction range is too high or the suction pipe is too long: reduce the suction or shorten the pipe.

4, the outlet pipeline installation is incorrect too many bends: too many pipelines into N font It is recommended to install automatic exhaust valve at the highest point.

5. The filter screen of the pump body or the inlet pipeline is blocked by debris stones: check and clean up the blockage.

6. Mechanical seal leakage is too large: repair or replace.

Refers to the vertical distance from the center of the pump impeller to the liquid surface. The determining factor is the size of the liquid storage chamber in the design process of the pump, the larger the liquid storage chamber, the more cooling water can be provided to the mechanical seal, the more the pump can withstand the empty operation during the self-priming, the longer the time of the same air rotation, the more air discharged, the higher the self-priming height. Installation points to emphasize:

2, the parallel pipeline distance of the pump shall not exceed 0.5 meters, otherwise it will also affect the self-priming height, because the air in the parallel pipeline is also required to discharge the self-priming pump.

3, the pump inlet connection pipe must be completely sealed, no air leakage, especially welding pipe, welding scar location is particularly easy to ignore.
